I would like to know how do you manage your workflow while improving friendica. Mine is really frustrating.
I forked the friendica/friendica git repo.
My server and my computer cloned my repo.
If I want to try a new change I need to commit and pull at the server OR
try editing via vim (just a remote maschine)
I also tried mounting my server via smb, sshfs and nfs (not working because of missing kernel support in VM) but that is reaaaaaally slow and makes no fun.
Especially when editing a PR my setting is really anoying.
What is your way ?
Hey, I'm trying to get to know the friendica API and trying to write the api_friendships_destroy() function.
Now I have a question. In developer branch it is DBA and in master branch it is DBM. The functions are different.
When should I use what ? What is the difference ?
I'm having performance issues in my Friendica 2018.05. It is manged by apache and php5 on debian jessie (edit: mixed up two servers). I already follow the Howto but still no improvement.
Many request takes much seconds. For example
- network tab:
Database: 0/0, Network: 0, Rendering: 0, Session: 0, I/O: 0, Other: 7.02, Total: 7.02
- community tab:
Database: 0/0, Network: 0, Rendering: 0, Session: 0, I/O: 0, Other: 3.48, Total: 3.48
- posting something or even like something about 10s (rendertimer doesn't measure this)
I can't anything in the logs. (webserver logs, friendica logs aren't enabled)
What I did (following the HowTo):
- using PHP5-FCGI with PHP-FPM
- using cache control and compression in apache
Any suggestions ? Thanks! 😀
AStA TU Berlin likes this.
Do you have any idea whats the problem?
